UNO: The Vintage Version
This project is a visual redesign of the classic card game UNO. I wanted to give the game a fresh look without changing what makes it familiar. The idea was to keep the gameplay exactly the same and focus only on how the cards look and feel.

Visual Language
The starting point for UNO: The Vintage Version was my interest in vintage design, especially Art Deco. I liked the idea of mixing that elegant, decorative style with the fun and playful character of UNO. The goal was to create a version of the game that design-oriented people could appreciate, but that still felt easy and enjoyable for anyone who already knows how to play.

Design Choices
Layout
The card layout is cleaner, with simpler lines and a focus on clarity. The idea was to make the cards look sleek without over-complicating things.
Typography
I chose retro-inspired fonts that add a touch of elegance, while still being easy to read and familiar enough for a fast-paced card game.
Color
I went with the traditional UNO colors, but I tweaked each one to fit with the old-fashioned style. This way, it's easier to tell the cards during the game.
Challenges
One of the main challenges was finding the right balance between aesthetics and functionality. The cards needed to look different, but they still had to feel like UNO. I tested different layouts and color variations to make sure the game stayed intuitive for both new players and people who have been playing it for years.
